Our Minister 

Kurt Alexander Cherry is a retired U.S. Air Force Chief Master Sergeant, husband, father of three adult children and grandfather to one granddaughter and four grandsons. Kurt grew up in a home with a love of God and was baptized into a local church at the age of 13. He later was baptized again “when he knew what he was doing” at MacDill Avenue Church of Christ in Tampa, Florida in December of 1980.

In his journey with the Air Force, Kurt was involved with various churches, taking on roles such as deacon and elder. He was actively engaged in youth ministry and other church activities in Florida and New Mexico. After moving to Dover, Delaware, he became an elder at Dover Church of Christ, where he also oversaw the church treasury and took on various responsibilities. Later, he transitioned to serve as the pulpit minister at the Frankford Church of Christ, continuing his dedication to the church.

Kurt carries on his love of working with the youth, helping the young boys of the church lead in singing and the offering.  Kurt is all about involvement and growth so the sky is the limit for him and the congregation in Frankford
