Newness in Christ part II (God’s plan death)

Last ​week we discussed Starting over again…In life there is always a beginning. well, you can't talk about a beginning without an end or life without death.

everyone must face death. However, because HIS Son died on the cross we can die to our old life of sins and be spiritually resurrected to a new life in Christ.

What does it mean to walk in newness of life? Think of the four Rs’

Romans 6:4 “For we died and were buried with Christ by baptism. And just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glorious power of the Father, now we also may live new lives.”

A Released Life liberated life from the jaws of sin. Set Free

A Revived Life wake up people from the power of sin

a Righteous Life we are to be instruments of righteousness which God can use to do His righteous works in this world.

Yes, death has its sting.

Which is why we need to remember that death, like newness is a part of GOD’s plans. This time when you think of death think of the Four Rs - It means living a Resurrected life, a Released life, a Revived life, and a Righteous life all through Jesus Christ in His death, in His burial and in His Resurrection.
